Trailer GURU Shahil Khan has been portraying a pivotal role in Ramji Gnawali directorial short movie ‘Dark Moon’. 7 Minute 39 Sec length fictional drama depicts the street child issue, set in contemporary Nepali middle class family.
According to the government report, more than 5,000 children living and working on the streets of Nepal. These children are among the most vulnerable in society, frequently falling victim to some of the worst forms of child labor and exploitation.
This is second short movie by director Gnawali after pandemic hits in the country and the government imposed the lockdown. This film looks promising in terms characterization, engage with audience and intensity of telling the story.
The story has been penned by pioneer Nepali screeplay writer Pradeep Bhardwaj. The film stars Surya Thapa, Krizan Gautam, Tanuja Karki, Nishav Lamsal, Yumi Baral along with Shahil.
Talking with MM, MR Gnawali said that he was inspired for telling the story with brutal reality of Nepali streets, where thousand childs are living with inhuman condition. The film has Sudip Baral’s DOP, Alish Karki’s background score, Bishal Niraula’s singing and music, Sahil Khan’s editing.
