Bollywood director Prakash Jha is in Kathmandu to attend Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) as a head of the jury. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony Mr Jha described the unique relation between Nepal and India.
‘Actually, there is no border between Nepal and India’ he recalled his childhood memory and said, ‘I grew up in Nepal-India border, where is my house. I have crossed the border many times in my childhood’.
This time Mr Jha here is for the NIFF, where he is head of the jury. ‘Movie is a form of art and i’m here to seek the art’ he said. Mr Jha is delivering his masterclass on Saturday at Tourism Board.
Mr Jha mostly known for his political and socio-political movies such as Damul, Mrityudand, Gangaajal, Apaharan, including multi-starrer movies like Raajneeti, Aarakshan, Chakravyuh and Satyagraha.
