‘The Irishman’ Trailer: Scorsese and De Niro Are Back

Mean Streets. Taxi Driver. New York, New York. Raging Bull. The King of Comedy. Goodfellas. Cape Fear. Casino. And now, finally, after almost 25 years, The Irishman, the first film from director Martin Scorsese and star Robert De Niro since 1995.

The movie premieres this weekend at the New York Film Festival and finally, just days before its debut, we’ve got the first full trailer for the movie.

The cast of the massive film (the official runtime is 209 minutes) also includes Harvey Keitel, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Ray Romano, Jesse Plemons, and many more. Here’s the official synopsis:

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

The Irishman opens in theaters on November 1, and premieres on Netflix on November 27.
