Again this time ! The Bollywood is reigning the Nepal Box Office.
Rajkumar Hirani’s new movie Sanju has pulled Nepalese audience to movie theaters in hordes over the past week. The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, that depicts the life of actor Sanjay Dutt, has made Rs. 4.50 crore gross approx at Nepal BO.
At Indian BO, movie made Rs. 265.68 crore net, its way into the Rs 300-crore club in its second week, entering the same league as the likes of Baahubali 2, Dangal, and Tiger Zinda Hai.
As per early trends, Nepal collection of Sanju could go further and it could disturb Friday release, when Bollywood’s Dhadak is all set to hits the theater. Upcoming week, there are 4 Nepalese release in pipleline, including Bobby, Babu Kanchha, Birangana and Yo Pagal man.
In multiplex and single screen, Sanju is being hurricane at Nepal BO.
Sanju is expected to carry on its strong performance the next week too. If the movie manages to pull in crowds on weekdays like it has done so far, we might see the film setting a new benchmark at Nepal.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju revolves around the turbulent life of Bollywood’s Baba, Sanjay Dutt. From his drug addiction to the illegal possession of guns case, the movie tries to decode the life of the controversial actor.
Nepalese audience are quite enthusiasts about the splendid performance by Manisha Koirala, who is portraying in as Nargis Dutt.
