Everyone knows that ‘Daal Bhat Tarkari’ is a much awaited Nepali movie this year, starring Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya in lead. Sudan KC directorial movie has a hype in post- ‘Avengers : End Game’ at the Box Office.
According to makers, they already have collected nearly Rs. 1 crore net collection from the overseas territory. The movie sold in Australia in Rs. 42 lakhs, while in Europe, America, Middle-Esat, Korea and Japan right also been sold.
Makers have set at least Rs. 15 lakhs minimum amount for these country and more countries are awaiting for the release. ‘Yes, we have sold the movie’ said producer Kiran KC to MM, ‘This gonna be huge at overseas and we are excited’.
Interesting is that, Daal Bhat Tarkari also set the record for highest brand sponsorship movie in history of Nepal. At least 20 big brand have sponsored for the marketing including print, visual and billboard cost. It seems that, makers will run with comfortable profit earning at box office.
The Digital right of the movie has not been sold yet, because all visual footage is being streaming from Maha Sanchar’s YouTube channel. The theatrical revenue of the movie will depend on word of mouth of the movie. The movie is releasing on this Friday.
