Nepal Film Development Board earlier made announcement that it will allow only Friday release. It lost the legal batlte with distributor of Indian movie ‘Bharat’. After that incident, Board chair Mr Keshab Bhattarai also said that he will keep Friday release system as policy.
Now, things are not favoring to him because, on Thursday (15 August, 2019), three movies all set release. Nepal’s ‘Hajar Juni Samma’, India’s Batla House and Mission Mangal will release on Thursday.
It seems that the government body of film is taking its step back from its earlier decision. If things happen, it would be another failure of Mr Bhattarai, who has been already dragged in controversy due to issue of movie quota system and movie bill.
It should be know that, Thursday is an independence day for India, while, on that day Nepal will Mark its important festival Rakshya Bandhan Parva.
