The full jury for the 12th edition of The Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) has been announced. Nepali director Deepak Rauniay also named the member of jury, the awards’ official portal conformed.
Russian film producer Alexander Rodnyansky is the jury president, who will head the five-member jury team. Indonesian director Nia Dinata, Georgian producer Vladimer Katcharava and Chilean actress Antonia Zegers are among the jury.
“juries will determine the winners from the 46 films from 22 countries and areas of the region nominated for an APSA, the region’s highest accolade in film” read press statement.
The award ceremony will held on November 29 in Brisbane, Australia. This is the first time that any Nepali filmmaker invited for such prestigious award as jury. Rauniyar directorial ‘White Sun’ was Nepal’s official selection for the Academy Awards’Best Foreign Language Film category in 2017.
