Deepak Rauniyar’s Film ‘Sky Is Mine’ Selected in Locarno Festival Talent


Nepalese director and producer Deepak Rauniyar and his new project ‘The Sky Is Mine’ has been selected for Locarno Film Festival’s Talent Project Market. Along with Mr Rauniyar, 10 film makers also have been selected for this category.

According to Locarno’s official website, selected movie will get chance to explore it among producers from around the world. With this selection, Mr. Rauniyar also will attend at Berlin Film Festival as guest of Locarno youth, which is going to be held in next spring.

2020 edition of Locarno film festival will be held on 5th August to 15 at Switzerland. The New York Times listed Rauniyar among “The 9 New Directors You Need to Watch”. Rauniyar’s forthcoming project ‘Raja’ is in script writing process.
