District Court Orders Nepal Idol Not To Count Vote Till Friday


Kathmandu – The district court Monday issued an interim order to the AP1 TV to not count the vote of the Nepal Idol. Responding to a writ filed by advocate Yagya mani Neupane, a single bench of Justice Diwakar Bhattari issued the order.

Last week, group of the judges, had used their so called veto power for not to eliminate any contestants from Idol. Audience responding the decision as injustice and unfair over their feelings. Audience came heavily over on social sites of internet and started to oppose the decision.

The court has called to both sides for debate on 23th Bhadra. After the ruled by court, future of Nepal Idol is become more uncertain.
