Karishma Manandhar, 43, celebrated actress of Nepal, has joined class 9 at Triveni Public School in Maitidevi, Kathmandu. The 8th grade pass out actress from the Galaxy Public School in Lalitpur, has admit to the school.
The news was revealed during the interaction program organized by Naya Shakti Party Nepal, led by former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai. Mrs. Manandhar is the head of the cultural bureau of the party.
‘I have been taking the class in Tribeni Scool from this year’ she said with Bhattarai, ‘I think, I have done PHD in movie, but couldn’t complete my higher education, I think, this is good time for it.’
She is the mother of a daughter, Kabita, who is studying graduate at United States, is also happy about the news. ‘Along with practical knowledge, I have been starting the class with understanding the importance of formal education’ she stated.
‘I have traveled so many countries as an artist, I felt the pain when I visit the abroad. I wanted to heal that pain by education’ she realized. The first movie of the Karishma was ‘Santaan’ which was released on 1988.
