When Weather Became Villain For Box office, More Than Dozen Theaters Closed


The unfavorable weather in Eastern Nepal has caused more than dozen cinema theaters to remain shut today. Biratnagar, Damak, Birtamod, Bhadrapur, Itahari, Dhulabari, Dharan and eastern part from Janakpur are suffering from the poor weather.

Flood has added fuel to the fire. Due to excessive rain, flood has occurred in the eastern part leading towards loss for the filmmakers.

The distributor Manoj Rathi said that almost all cinema theaters are closed. The flood has affected the business along with the problems in the screening of the movies. Unless the weather gets back to the improving condition, the business will be affected.

Yet toilet Ek Prem Katha, Premgeet 2 and Sanrakshyan are being screened in Eastern based halls.
