Nepal Pulled Out Two Hollywood Movies Today, What Went Wrong?


Apple Entertainment has canceled the Friday release of two Hollywood movies, Atomic Blonde and baby Driver after Censor Board’s multiple chops. In the last hour of release, the distribution company of Nepal pulled out the release.

‘There is no confirmation of further release’ said head of the company Mr. Basanta Manandhar, ‘We will take decide after talk with company because there are so many cuts, so it will take the time.’ After cancellation of Hollywood release, ‘Samrakshyan’ and ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ are being released.

‘This is true and we have cut multiple scenes and dialogue i.e. F**k. We have limitation of category of certification. That’s why we chopped the language’ said Mr. Sandeep Sapkota, member of the central film censor board of Nepal.

Baby Driver, directed by Edgar Wright, starring Ansel Elgort and Kevin Spacey, is action film, releasing by Sony Pictures. Another movie is ‘Atomic Blonde’, American Spy Thriller, starring Charlize Theron which has been adopted from graphic novel in same name by Antony Johnston, 2012.

‘Samrakshyan’ is a solo Nepali movie, which is being released today amid wave of ‘Premgeet 2.’
